Day 1: Arrival in Yogyakarta – Borobudur Temple – Hotel Check-In
Pick-Up:
Meet and greet at Yogyakarta Airport at 9:45 AM.

Transfer to Borobudur:
Enjoy a scenic 2.5-hour drive to Magelang City where Borobudur Temple is located.

Borobudur Temple Exploration:
Upon arrival, collect your entrance ticket and follow the temple regulations:
“Climb with a group and a local guide.”

Join a guided tour with an English-speaking local guide who will walk you through the rich history and stunning architecture of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Return & Check-In:
After exploring Borobudur, drive back to your hotel for check-in and relaxation.
Free time for the rest of the evening.


Day 2: Prambanan Temple Visit – Train to Surabaya – Transfer to Bromo
Morning Pick-Up:
After breakfast, check out and depart at 7:30 AM for Prambanan.

Journey to Prambanan:
A 1-hour drive will take you to the magnificent Prambanan Temple complex.

Temple Tour:
Meet your local English-speaking guide at the entrance and dive into the stories behind these ancient Hindu temples.

Lunch:
Dine at a local Javanese restaurant before continuing the journey.

Train Ride to Surabaya:
Catch the 1:00 PM executive train from Yogyakarta to Surabaya (approx. 5 hours).
Upon arrival, meet our French-speaking driver, Mr. Noer.

Drive to Bromo:
Embark on a 3-hour car journey to your hotel near Mount Bromo.
Check-in and enjoy a restful night.


Day 3: Mount Bromo Sunrise Tour – Transfer to Ijen Area
Early Morning Start:
Wake up at 3:00 AM for a 3:30 AM departure via Jeep to Penanjakan Sunrise Point (1-hour drive).

Viewpoint Options:
Choose from several scenic spots:

  • Penanjakan 1 (most popular)

  • Kingkong Hill

  • Love Hill

  • Seruni Point

Witness the breathtaking sunrise over the Bromo landscape.

Bromo Exploration:
After sunrise, traverse the Sea of Sand and capture photos with Mount Batok.
Hike 1 km and climb 250 steps to the crater of Mount Bromo.
Explore the crater and the Hindu temple at its base.

Return to Hotel:
Head back for breakfast, shower, and a short break.

Transfer to Ijen:
Drive 5–6 hours to the Ijen View Hotel near Kawah Ijen.
Enjoy free time, relax by the pool, or have an early dinner in preparation for the next day’s hike.


Day 4: Ijen Crater Hike – Visit Plantation & Waterfall – Ferry to Bali
Choose Your Tour Time:

  • 12:00 AM (Midnight) – See the blue fire, sunrise, and crater

  • 01:00 AM – See the sunrise and crater in daylight

  • 04:00 AM – Recommended for families with kids

Ijen Crater Experience:
Depart at 2:00 AM with a boxed breakfast.
Hike 3 km (about 1 hour) to the summit at 2,386 meters.

At the crater, you’ll witness:

  • “The famous blue flames (only visible from the crater at night)”

  • Sulfur miners at work

Important Note:
“Visitors are forbidden to go down into the crater due to the dangerous gases.”
A gas mask and flashlight will be provided for safety.

Sunrise and Panoramic Views:
Continue the hike for another hour to reach the sunrise point and marvel at the beauty of Kawah Ijen and its surroundings.

Breakfast and Relaxation:
Return to the parking lot for breakfast.

Visit Coffee Plantation & Jagir Waterfall:
Stop by a local plantation and the serene Jagir Waterfall (closed on Mondays).

Ferry to Bali:
Drive 1 hour to Ketapang Port and take the ferry to Gilimanuk Port in Bali.
End your adventure with a smooth drop-off in Ubud.
