This is a midnight hiking tour to see the famous blue fire at Ijen Crater, near Banyuwangi, East Java. It’s a group tour, so you’ll go with other travelers, guided by a local expert.

✅ Pick-up from hotel / station / port in Banyuwangi

• Meet your guide and join the group

• Transfer to Paltuding basecamp (~1.5 hours by car)

🥾 Arrival at Paltuding (Start Point)

• Briefing by your local guide

• Equipment distribution: gas mask, headlamp

• Start 3 km hike (~1.5–2 hours)

03:30 – 04:30
🔥 Blue Fire Phenomenon at Ijen Crater

• Carefully descend into the crater

• Witness the famous natural blue flames (caused by ignited sulfur gas)

• Take photos (masks required due to sulfur fumes)

05:00 – 06:00
🌄 Sunrise at the Crater Rim

• Hike back up to crater rim for panoramic sunrise view

• See turquoise acid lake, sulfur miners at work

🚶‍♂️ Hike Back to Basecamp

• Enjoy forest scenery and fresh mountain air

🍵 Return to Banyuwangi
